Celebrated Life of Andrina Phillips
May 30, 2024
Celebrated the life of this amazing woman of God today, Andrina Phillips. A once professional Ballet dancer who toured with the American Ballet Theater. She then became a dancer on Broadway. It would be in the Big City of New York, she would meet her precious husband Donald Phillips, and go on to celebrate a blessed 65 years together.
Soon after her marriage Andrina did not hesitate hanging up her dancing shoes to become a mother to two amazing boys. It would not be long afterwards that the Lord would call Andrina into the ministry. Finding Christ had changed her life, and she would then be used by God to help develop the counseling ministry program for women in churches. In a ministry the Lord would call me into which is how I was blessed to meet, Andrina.
The Lord had used this dear woman to reveal a faith and calling that’s real, and a love and joy in Christ that brightens the whole room. Andrina was my spiritual God mother, a dear friend, and a mentor to me. My life was forever changed in meeting her, and although saddened in her passing, I now look forward in seeing her again one day - for a friend who is “in Christ” lives forever.
The legacy she now leaves behind for her family, and the women her life touched within the Biblical Counseling Ministry is breathtaking. Andrina is forever etched upon my mind and heart, and like Christ, will continue to live on within me.
I am proud to be called “one of her girls” for I am, and will forever be, for we all are the daughters of the King. I will miss you my sweet, precious, Andrina. I wanted so much to pour into you what the Lord had been doing in my life since I’ve been gone. Something I’m sure you already know now, so I tell you I love you, and will miss you! Until we meet again our precious mamma duck, Andrina. We will continue the Lords work, and make you proud. Pray for us, as we need your prayers more than ever now in the condition of the world. So shine bright for us in heaven, and dance for us all until we can be together again one-day. We love you, Andrina! Never goodbye, but always until we meet again.
